Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application "Katha Ghar" (the "App"), operated by Katha Ghar Entertainment Technology Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2. Account Registration and Authentication
Access to the App requires authentication via Google Sign-In.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your Google account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Subscription and Payments
Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription.
- All payments are processed through Google Play Billing.
- Subscription pricing and billing cycles are displayed at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Google Play account.
- Refunds are governed by Google Play’s refund policies.
We do not control or process payment card information.
4. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content
- Download, record, or extract audio or video content
- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for commercial exploitation
- Circumvent subscription or security mechanisms
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Company.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All audio, video, artwork, branding, text, graphics, and software within the App are owned by or licensed to Katha Ghar Entertainment Technology Pvt. Ltd.
All content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Interfere with App functionality
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Distribute malware or harmful code
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access
- Restrict features
- Remove accounts
If we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.
Termination does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations.
8. Content Availability
We strive to provide uninterrupted access; however:
- Content availability may change without notice
- We may remove, update, or modify content at any time
- We do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Katha Ghar Entertainment Technology Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data or profits
- Service interruptions
- Device incompatibility
- Third-party service failures
Your use of the App is at your own risk.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your misuse of the App
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of applicable laws
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Uttar Pradesh, India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
